Its official: SMH needs journalists
Wednesday, November 19th, 2008I’m really sick of the slipping standards of Journalism at the Sydney Morning Herald. It really might as well be the Telegraph these days - catchy headlines with no real news or content. Blah.
Here is an example thats barely worth headline news (link)
Most newspapers were too high-minded to refer to it, but reaction trickled through the Internet and surfaced in USA Today, where a poll revealed that twice as many people hated the gown as thought it irrelevant or OK, she said.
PROTIP: High-minded means that they know whats news worthy and whats not. Its called standards.
