Posts of Quality

I’ve been thinking it out the content and quality of my blog recently and have decided i’m going to get an “angry young man” blog at Live Journal (after all thats what its for) and leave this blog for quality technical stuff. That means no stories about hookers, smacked up queens or how much I hate a particular transexual this week.

Also, sorry to say, most of my gay “friends” are bitter, bitter people.

  1. Don’t know if “bitter” is exactly the right word. Perhaps “resentful” comes closer, but that’s still not quite on the money. There’s a touch of desperation in it, but “desperate” is (well, generally, anyway — I could name some specific exceptions :-) also off the mark. “Unsettled” or “dissatisfied” also come close, but still no banana.

The failure to find an accurate way to portray the gestalt of my homopolar and ambisextrous associates (”friends”, “foes” and don’t-cares alike) nags at me. Let me know if any epiphanies arrive, will you?

  • Could it be that most are selfish and unhappy creatures due to the predicament of our social standing choices? That in order for us to find a temporary peace in ourselves we must make discourse for another? I am not sure. I guess because we are developing our own subculture in a more accepting world, the problems with our lifestyle have no answers yet.

i386: could be. I’m betting that the answers are there, just not widely identified (or maybe not widely accepted) yet. Most important historical developments happened several times before they really caught on, and many of them were also instantiated in several places at once “when the time was right”, so to speak. [shrug] Wait and see.
