I hope you like it: Electric Tide

Just something I started nearly a year ago… this is kinda like my sample of it. I hope you enjoy it.

They sat apon the hilltop looking over the once grand city, its avenues strewn with the shattered memories of millions, its foundations that had supported a fragile society for thousands of years cracked like the dried filth of mud.
A rough breeze blew from the west, carrying a torrent of dust from the wastes on the city’s far edge. A Sky burning.

A man spoke aloud and asked himself, “If this is the last trumpet, where is god?”. Not a noise stirred from within the group nor in their surroundings. The evening sky was streaked in fire, as the cities of above fell screaming into the turquoise ocean below.
“For three thousand years…” murmered a plump woman with a swollen face, as she watched a streak of fire across the sky. “We were given the powers of the universe…” replied the man. They watched the remnants of the city till the sunset from the hill on the outskirts of the doomed city, as the lights of the city started blinking out. First those near the city limit, then slowly like an electric tide, the lights crept out in the city center.

Mans end and a new beginning in an electric tide.

How’s the breathing practice coming along?

  • Thanks :)

Yeah breathing is great. Don’t really think about ciggies THAT much.

  • Chris Says:

    What does it mean?

  • i386 Says:

It might be part of something a bit larger Chris, I’m just toying with some ideas. So have a think about it, the message is pretty clear.
