We laughed, we cried.

I had a really big netout (you know, a blackout, but the net instead of power) this weekend - chaos and boredom. So I decided it was a good idea to share a large bottle of vodka with my friend and do crazy shit in my house. My head…

Anyway, Ycros starts work at my company today which will be awesome - we can talk nerd like we usually do, but every day…

Seems I cant forward any ports from my router to my internal network - I think my ISP is filtering out ports such as 22… My father thinks its a great idea to change the hardware router every few months (I think he feels cooler todo so) and each iteration of this pattern (the hardware is getting better and better) does not allow me to forward any services. It sucks.

  1. TPG don’t block any ports. I found Squid by default blocks a number of sub-1024 ports. If you run it on 443 or something high up like in the 6000’s it shouldn’t have problems. Remember of course to point Putty through the proxy - it won’t autodetect, at least on windows.

Try to avoid 6660 - 6669, and 7000 (IRC). And be careful with trojan ports, some routers have issues with them.
